Crawford County stone quarry accident 9-12-23 Mulzer Crushed Stone quarry
Officials with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Crawford County Emergency Management Services, Crawford County EMS and Crawford County Sheriff's Department responded to the Mulzer Crushed Stone quarry in Camp Sandy, Indiana, just south of Leavenworth, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, after a vehicle went into the water.

Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to the report of a submerged vehicle at a quarry in Cape Sandy, Indiana, a small town on the Ohio River just south of Leavenworth.
The identify of the victim has not been released.
His death has been ruled an accident.
