LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Louisville athletes are competing in the U.S. Olympic Trials for track and field this weekend.
Former Olympian Yared Nuguse, a duPont Manual High School alumnus, is scheduled to run at 8:22 p.m. Friday for the first round of the men's 1500 meters.
Nuguse holds the American record.
Another Manual graduate, Darius Brown, will compete Monday night in men's 100-meter hurdles. He holds several records at DePaul University.
Ballard High School alumnus Ronnie Baker is scheduled to run at 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the first round of the men's 100 meters.
Baker is also a former Olympian.
