LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- They may not have hit the $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot, but some Kentuckians did hit it big in the Christmas Eve drawing Wednesday.

A $50,000 winning ticket was sold at the Five Star on Commerce Drive in Scottsville. Another was sold at the Valero Hartford, on Main Street in Hartford.

A $100,000 winning ticket was sold online.

Wednesday's numbers were 4-25-31-52-59 with a Powerball of 19. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

During this latest jackpot run, 21 large winning Powerball tickets were sold across Kentucky, totaling $4.5 million.

Christmas came early for someone who purchased a Powerball ticket at a gas station outside Little Rock, Arkansas, worth more than $1.8 billion.

The lone winner in Wednesday's Christmas Eve drawing matched all five winning numbers and the Powerball to capture the second-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history, ending the game's three-month stretch without a top prize winner.
