LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 4-year-old child was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a home near Jeffersontown, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers were called around 7:45 p.m. to the 4200 block of Pleasant Glen Drive, a residential street off Taylorsville Road. Police helped clear a route for EMS, which transported the child to Norton Children's Hospital in downtown Louisville.
It's not yet clear how long the child was in the water or who found them.
