LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An ambulance was involved in a crash Monday morning after hitting a tree in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
According to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell, the crash happened around 4:35 a.m. at the intersection of Gagel Avenue and Estate Drive.
Mitchell said a PRP ambulance was en route to Mary & Elizabeth Hospital when the driver, for an unknown reason, lost control and hit a tree.
There were 2 crew members and a patient inside the ambulance. They were all taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
