LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some of the Louisville Zoo animals were out Sunday chilling out while promoting a message of conservation.
The zoo is celebrating World Water Week in partnership with Waterstep and the Louisville Water Company.
Visitors could watch the animals engage in enrichment items and water balls all while showing the importance of clean, accessibly water around the world.
Waterstep created the water ball so workers in third world countries can roll water instead of carrying buckets on their shoulders.
Glacier Run had interactive activities with the seals and seal lions. The zoo's mission is to better the bond between people and the planet.
"Clean water is so important to wildlife," Louisville Zoo Media Relations Director Kyle Shepherd said. "It's important to us and this is just a great event to showcase that and have people go out and learn about Louisville Water and learn about Waterstep.
Bears and tigers also took part in some of the enrichment activities Sunday.
