LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky's brand new BlueOval SK battery plant might not be finished just yet, but it's already looking to fill positions.
The manufacturing plant is hiring production operators to build batteries at the Kentucky 1 plant in Glendale.
Pay starts at $21 an hour with regular pay increases every six months as well as performance- and position-based annual bonuses. Employees are also eligible for low-cost medical premiums, 401(k) matching, Ford friends and family vehicle discount benefits, vision and dental insurance.
Production at the plant is scheduled to start in 2025.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply and have a high school diploma or GED.
