LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Halloween is still more than two months away, but some people got into the spirit early in Louisville.

Caufield's Novelty on West Main Street held its first Caufield's CreepFest. The second floor of the store was filled for local vendors to show off their crafts and products.

It featured 40 vendors offering everything odd, creepy and horror-themed items.

There were adult costume contests and even one for pets.

"We've had a line out the door all day to get up stairs to see them," said co-owner Tracy Caufield Johnson. "It's been a great thing for us as well so we just appreciate Louisville. All the creepy people coming out and supporting Caufield's and the local vendors."

Caufield's has been a Halloween and costume staple in Louisville for more than 100 years.
