LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Still don't have all your gifts purchased and shipped? You have a few more days left to get that done, and then it becomes very expensive!
Of course we all want our packages to arrive on time, but the longer you wait, the more you will have to pay.
Many shipping stores are urging their customers to get their gifts shipped ASAP, as it's going to cost a lot more to ship the week of the 23rd than it is the week of the 18th.
Late customers are often shocked at the price, sometimes paying double to ship their things.
To avoid overpaying, it's important to know these things:
- The deadline for Fedex Ground Economy has passed, so you'll have to pay extra for Express Saver.
- The deadline for UPS 3-Day Select is Thursday, Dec. 19.
- The deadline for Ground Advantage at USPS is Wednesday, Dec. 18.
You can ship by Priority Mail by Dec. 19, which is slightly more expensive.
If you wait much longer, you'll be coughing up the big bucks to get your gifts to your loved ones in time!
