LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's back! The Facebook scam that's been warned about for a few years and it's starting its spread again in 2025.
The message claims you've made copyright violations, and your Facebook page is about to be shut down if you don't immediately respond.
There's a link embedded in the message and if clicked on, it takes you to a page asking for your name, email, and password.
Filling out that information puts your page at risk of being hacked.
Never share your Facebook login information with anyone, no matter how legitimate they sound.
