LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A much-awaited grocery store in east Jefferson County is scheduled to open in January.
The first Publix Super Market is scheduled to open in Louisville on Jan. 10. Publix is scheduled to open at 7 a.m. on that day.
The sign is already up and the landscaping is in at the store at 2500 Terra Crossing Boulevard, east of Interstate 265 near Old Henry Road.
The 55,000-square-foot store is the first in the state and one of three new locations in Louisville.
Publix said it's still hiring, and will employ about 150 people at this location. To apply, click here.Â
