LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Golf enthusiasts have a new option for gear and equipment in Louisville.
The PGA Tour Superstore opened its first location in Kentucky Saturday. It's located on Breckenridge Lane in St. Matthews.
Some people waited in line for days for a chance to be one of the first in the store. The space that was previously occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond is 35,000 thousand square feet of accessories, apparel and golf equipment.
The store's opening comes a year after the PGA Championship was held in Louisville. The store also offers lessons from certified pros, club fitting, interactive simulators for practice and play, along with club repair.
"We have two practice and play bays in the back so if you want to come in and just practice or play golf courses, if you want to go play Valhalla virtually you can play it in there," said Keith Cornwell, the store's general manager.
There is also a putting green inside the store.
