LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new $21 million mixed-use development is in the works for downtown Clarksville, Indiana.
Plans for Main + Clark include a mix of residential and commercial space at the corner of Main Street and Clark Boulevard, near the Colgate Clock, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The first floor, consisting of 20,000-square-feet of commercial space, will be separated into 10-18 different retail spaces, while the other three floors will have 69 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Developers hope to break ground this year, with the project expected to be finished in 2028.Â
The Cornerstone Group, based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, is behind the development. It was also behind the nearby Bolt + Tie mixed-use development, which consists of apartment, office, restaurant and co-working space.Â
Main + Clark will sit across from the planned Clockworks project to redevelop the former Colgate-Palmolive plant. Plans call for a hotel, conference center, restaurants, courtyards and a sports complex.
