Puttshack to open 'tech-infused' mini golf complex next month at Oxmoor Center in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 25,000-square-foot "tech-infused mini golf experience" is scheduled to open next month at Oxmoor Center.

Puttshack is an indoor mini golf space in which the ball you use tracks your score for you and offers bonus points on certain holes. Along with the mini golf, there will also be a full-scale bar, food, an outdoor patio with seating for up to 56 guests and private event space.

"Oxmoor Center is the perfect location for Puttshack's unique blend of technology, entertainment, and hospitality," Puttshack CEO Logan Powell said in a news release Tuesday. "The accessibility of the growing area makes it perfect not only for locals but tourists to enjoy the interactive experience, and we can't wait to share Puttshack with the people of Derby City."

The new location will include:

After 8 p.m., Puttshack Louisville will shift from a family-friendly setting to an "elevated nightlife environment for those aged 21 and up."

Puttshack was founded by the co-founders of Topgolf. There are currently locations open in Atlanta, Chicago, Boston and Miami. Along with Louisville, plans call for new locations in Dallas, Denver, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scottsdale and St. Louis.
