LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Roosters in Clarksville is scheduled to reopen next week, about a year-and-a-half after it was destroyed by fire.
According to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page, the Clarksville location on Green Tree Boulevard near the Green Tree Mall will reopen Monday, Aug. 19.
The owners said there are already a lot of cars in the parking lot as they welcome and train a group of new and returning employees.
Fire destroyed the restaurant in February 2023. Officials have said the flames likely started in the kitchen. About a month later, the Roosters in Okolona on Preston Highway was damaged by fire, but it has since reopened.
