LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is celebrating its busiest summer yet.
From May through August, about 892,000 passengers took flights from the airport. That's an almost six percent increase over 2023, which was the airport's best year ever.
SDF was the nation's fastest growing airport in 2023, according to officials. It's served by eight commercial airlines, which operate flights to more than 35 nonstop destinations around the country.
