LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The old Bader's Food Mart on Baxter Avenue in the Highlands will soon reopen as a new gas station and convenience store.
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the owners of the property plan to invest $1.2 million to transform the property at the corner of East Broadway and Baxter Avenue into a Shell station and Rockets convenience store.
The store was built in 1976 and has been vacant for years.
The new business is scheduled to open in May, although the owners admitted that could be pushed back.
