LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One man was killed and another was taken to the the hospital after a shooting in the Wilder Park neighborhood on Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders said police responded to a shooting near Huston Quin Park at 9:14 p.m. When police arrived on-scene, they found a man on the ground who had been shot in his "lower extremities" according to Sanders. He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital by EMS, but his condition hasn't been released by police.
Sanders said 25 minutes later, a man went into a Norton Hospital in downtown Louisville with a gunshot wound. He was then taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment, where he died. His identity hasn't been released.
Police believe the two victims are from the same shooting near Huston Quin Park. LMPD's Homicide Unit is interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area.
