LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting last week in the Portland neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.Â
According to LMPD, officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of North 28th Street May 15. Police found a man who had been shot several times. The victim was taken to the hospital and was expected to survive.Â
Leland Carrier was arrested Monday in connection to the shooting. He was charged with assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.Â
