LOUSIVILLE, Ky. (WDRB/WAVE) — Four people were indicted Wednesday in a double murder near Okolona last September.

Jazmine Brown, Malachi Forrest, Clifton Jamal Jones, Jr. and Ker'ron K. Williams were each indicted on two counts of murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. Additionally, Brown was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property for "knowingly having in her possession a stolen firearm," according to court documents.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex on Napa Valley Court just before 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29, 2025, former Louisville Metro Police spokesman John Bradley said at the time. That's in a neighborhood off South Park Road near Blue Lick Road.

Bradley said witnesses told officers on scene they heard multiple gunshots inside the apartment and saw "several" people running from the scene afterward.

Once inside, officers found two "young" men dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Court documents identified the victims as Kaiveon Faulkner and Marion Caldwell.

Brown was arrested in connection with the shooting about a month after it happened on two counts of complicity to murder and one count of receiving stolen property. Her bond was set at $1 million at her arraignment.

Court documents at the time of Brown's arrest said Brown was a roommate to the victims and was involved in planning the shooting with three unknown people — now identified as Forrest, Jones and Williams.

Police said Brown was in direct communication with the three suspected shooters and told them the door to the residence where the victims lived was unlocked, so they could go in while they slept.

Brown later arrived on scene and told police they were her roommates, according to police.

Officers were able to corroborate witness statements through jail calls made by Brown to one of the suspects about the shooting, police said.

Brown, Forrest and Williams are being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. According to court documents, Jones is currently serving a six-year prison sentence at the Northpoint Training Center for manslaughter and several other charges in a different case.

All four suspects are scheduled to be arraigned on their indictments June 29.
