LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Coroner's Office released the name of a man who died after he showed up at UofL Hospital with gunshot wounds Wednesday evening.
The victim, identified as 18-year-old Braxton Donovan Tucker, died around 7:30 p.m. from a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the coroner.
Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said a gunshot victim was brought to the hospital "by private means" and dropped off around 7 p.m.
Mitchell said police were not sure of the location of the shooting, but the coroner's report indicates Tucker was shot near 20th Street and Portland Avenue.
Homicide detectives are investing, but there are no suspects at this time.
