LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man charged with murder after a man was shot and killed in the Dosker Manor apartments earlier this month will need $125,000 to be released from jail, after his arraignment Wednesday.
A judge entered a not guilty plea on behalf of 51-year-old Enus Delaneo Stovall.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Jan. 13. at the subsidized apartments in the city's Phoenix Hill neighborhood. That's where Louisville Metro Police investigators said Stovall shot and killed 32-year-old Daniel West.
When police arrived, they found West with at least one gunshot wound. West was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died, according to police.
LMPD said Tuesday that officers arrested Stovall on South Floyd Street after receiving a tip.
Stovall's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 8.
