Last November, a 39-year-old man was shot and killed at the apartments. Dosker Manor apartments on East Muhammad Ali Boulevard are subsidized housing with low-rent costs intended for seniors and disabled community members.
Residents of Dosker Manor have endured deplorable living conditions, leading them to plead for relief from Louisville Metro Housing Authority. Months after reports of bed bugs, mold, mice, maggots and other problems at the public housing, people who live at Dosker Manor said very little has been accomplished.
