LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police arrested a man in Carroll County after chasing him down on Interstate 75.

Cincinnati Police were trying to arrest a man with felony charges for strangulation, but officers said he tried to ram officers with his vehicle when they attempted to arrest him, according to a news release.

Kentucky State Police were told by officers that the man was driving on I-75.

Police were able to flatten multiple of his tires but he still continued to drive. Troopers caught up to him around the 40-mile mark near Carrollton.

Terron Minnifield, 25, was arrested. His charges include reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, drug possession and speeding.

Troopers deployed a GPS tracking device on his vehicle to identify him.
