LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A nonprofit bicycle shop in the Shelby Park neighborhood had around $19,000 worth of equipment stolen, according to owners.
Falls City Community BikeWorks was founded in 2014 and is located at 1217 Logan Street. The local business said a 12-foot trailer and 20 bike racks were stolen from the shop on Christmas morning. The bike racks are a revenue generator for the business.
"Please be on the lookout for our trailer and racks, and let us know if you see/know anything about the truck in the third photo: a white Nissan Frontier with a black ladder rack," Falls City Community BikeWorks posted on Facebook.

"We are a very small nonprofit, we don't have a huge bank account and also it's only $20,000 but it's a significant source of revenue for our operation because we rent those bike racks out so it's not just that we're losing out on 20K, we're losing out on all the potential revenue from those bike racks," Falls City Community Bikeworks Board President Lou Lepping said.
