LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana mother pleaded guilty in the death of her 8-month-old daughter.
According to a report by FOX59, Amber Robertson pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent.
Robertson's daughter, Amiah, went missing in Indianapolis on March 9, 2019, but Robertson didn't report her missing until a week later. She told police that she gave Amiah to her boyfriend who was supposed to drop the child off at a babysitter's house.
Amiah hasn't been seen since. Robertson and her boyfriend, Robert Lyons, were both arrested in 2022.
Lyons pleaded guilty to neglect charges last month and was sentenced to 10 years.
Robertson now faces up to six years in prison.
