LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A second person has been arrested and charged in connection to a bank robbery in Washington County, Kentucky, earlier this week.

Kendrick R. Elliot, 58, of Louisville, was arrested Friday in Louisville around 5:45 p.m., according to a social media post by the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Wednesday morning, the Springfield State Bank in Willisburg was robbed. The Washington County Sheriff shared photos of the suspects and the alleged vehicle, a black 2009 Honda Fit that was seen on surveillance video, used in the robbery.

Police arrested Sherrie Knox Thursday morning in Louisville after she was found driving that Honda Fit. Knox allegedly confessed her involvement in the robbery to deputies with the Nelson County Sheriff's Office. Police said they found half of the money that was stolen in Knox's possession.

Elliot is charged with robbery, and is currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
