LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a shooting last August.
Wednesday, Lamarr Jones, 37, was arrested and charged with the murder of 31-year-old Terrez Cureton.Â
Police said on Aug. 15, 2023, they responded to a report of a shooting about 10:10 p.m. at South 26th and Market Streets where they found Cureton shot. Cureton was transported to UofL Hospital, where he later died.
Police say he shot Terrez Cureton in a parking lot on 26th Street.
On Jan. 3, Louisville Metro Police said Jones was found and arrested in Florence, Alabama thanks to the help of multiple agencies in the area.
He appeared in court on Thursday where a $500,000 cash bond was set. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 26.
