LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot in killed Wednesday morning in a neighborhood off Dixie Highway.
LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis said officers responded to the reported shooting near the 6300 block of Sydney Renee Way around 10:45 a.m. When officials arrived, they located an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Ellis said.
On Friday morning, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 20-year-old James Brown Jr.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the situation, and "all parties have been accounted for."
