LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed at Oxmoor Center on Monday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 7900 block of Shelbyville Road, around 7:32 p.m. Police found a man who had been stabbed in the forearm and his rear, according to Ellis.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ellis. The victim was talking to police, conscious and alert after being stabbed.
Ellis said all parties have been accounted for in the incident, and detectives are working to determine if the victim and suspect knew each other.Â
Ellis said it is an isolated incident.
