LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police are looking for suspects after a teenager was shot and killed in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood Monday.

Louisville Metro Police were called to the 5300 block of Ridgecrest Road around 7:30 p.m. on a reported shooting, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. That's off Shepherdsville Road, not far from GE Appliance Park.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a teenage male who had been shot. Ellis said officers gave life-saving aid to the teen, but he died at the scene.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
