LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Clarksville Police said two robbery suspect were arrested after a chase across the Sherman Minton bridge into Louisville.
Police were called Tuesday to JCPenney in Clarksville for shoplifting.
Jalisa Box and Shannon Pruitt are accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise and assaulting a staff member while leaving Green Tree Mall.
An officer found the pair fleeing the store and chased them across the Sherman Minton bridge and into Louisville. They were eventually arrested at the intersection of 33rd and Bank streets.
Police said they also found a crack pipe in the car.
Box and Pruitt are facing multiple charges including robbery and reckless driving.
