LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman died hours after being hospitalized in critical condition from a stabbing Tuesday afternoon in an apartment off Poplar Level Road, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers were called to the 200 block of Huntington Park Drive, in the Poplar Hills neighborhood, to find a woman suffering from multiple stab wound inside a residence.
Officers rendered First Aid on scene, and the woman was taken by EMS to UofL Hospital with "critical and life-threatening" injuries. LMPD said she died Tuesday afternoon.
