LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Marion C. Moore High School reopened its Health Sciences building Friday after it was destroyed in a fire.
Last year, 18-year-old Kaleb Pierce and another teen were charged with arson for starting the fire.
The fire tore through the health sciences wing, destroying labs, four classrooms, the school counselor's office and damaging several other rooms with heavy smoke.
The program serves nearly 300 students, training them for careers in the medical field.
It also forced students to learn in temporary spaces.
