LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Actor and director Ethan Hawke hosted an early screening of his brand new movie in Kentucky.
Hawke shared photos on Facebook at The Kentucky Theatre in Lexington on Friday for a screening of his new film "Wildcat." It was filmed in Kentucky around Louisville, Shelbyville and Frankfort.
The film delves into the life of an American novelist, Flannery O'Connor, who is played by Hawke's daughter Maya. Actor Steve Zahn, who plays Tom T. Shiftlet, was also at Friday's screening.
Wildcat will officially come out on May 3.Â
Hawke, 53, has been nominated for four Academy Awards.Â
