LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former LMPD assistant chief has been named the new Bardstown police chief.
Kim Kraeszig was chosen Tuesday to replace former chief Steve Uram, who was removed in July after only eight months on the job.
Kraeszig's brother, Maj. Todd Kessinger with LMPD, confirmed the news to WDRB.
Former chief Capt. C.D. Marksbury had been serving as interim chief of police.
