The more than $35 million project called Liminal Louisville will have four floors of residential space and 20,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level.

The project is being funded by recent city loans, as well as state and federal historic tax credits.

Developers expect the first residents to begin moving in at the beginning of 2027.

Louisville Downtown Partnership officials said the units will have "accessible rents targeted at 80% of Area Median Income."
