LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) ā Lanes along the Gene Snyder Freeway will close next week in eastern Jefferson County as crews continue to work on the highway.
Beginning Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, Interstate 265 north will be cut down to one lane from Interstate 64 to Exit 27, Shelbyville Road. Also, the left lane of I-265 south will be closed during this time to allow for crews to install an overhead sign truss.
Also beginning Tuesday, May 28 at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, I-265 north from Exit 34, Brownsboro Road, to one mile past I-71 will be down to one lane, shifting lanes to the right.
The Brownsboro Road section will drop to one lane Thursday at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday as well.
In addition, beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, I-265 south from Exit 32, Westport Road, to Exit 30, LaGrange Road, will be down to one lane to remove a temporary barrier wall. Lanes will reopen at 6 a.m. Friday, May 31.
And starting Friday, May 31 at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, June 3,Ā I-265 northbound bridge over I-71 will be down to one lane to allow crews to do maintenance work.Ā
