LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he allegedly showed up at a funeral with a gun.
Police say they arrested 18-year-old Warren Freeman Saturday afternoon at a funeral on Goss Avenue, near Eastern Parkway.
Freeman was attending the funeral of one of the men killed during a home invasion in the Newburg area last week.
Police say they were at the funeral because of the "high likelihood" of violence, and allegedly discovered a handgun on his person.
Warren, allegedly a convicted felon, is forbidden by law to carry a gun, according to police.
He was arrested at the funeral home, and a "large disorderly crowd" formed around him, according to police. Freeman was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.
His bond was set at $1,000 and he's been ordered to stay away from firearms.
