LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a dead body was pulled out of the Ohio River on Friday afternoon.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for LMPD, said a caller told MetroSafe they saw a body in the Ohio River near the Belle of Louisville around 2:30 p.m.
LMPD's River Unit found the body and recovered it. An autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death and identity.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
