LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Charity is on the menu at a Louisville restaurant.
Noah's Kitchen has donated about $115,000 to local nonprofits. It's been open for less than a year in Louisville's East End.
"We're a mission driven restaurant," owner Adam Ursprung said. "I opened this restaurant with a sheer desire to give away money to those in need."
Ursprung named his business after Noah's Ark. It's located at 9850 Von Allmen Ct #101.
Every meal comes with a side of generosity because this restaurant isn't making a profit. Instead, all of the money goes toward Kentucky nonprofits focused on human trafficking, foster care and adoption, and addiction recovery.
This includes roughly $45,000 for Hope Rescued, $12,600 for Camberwell Grief Sanctuary, $9,300 for The Prisoner's Hope and $8,000 for Sunrise Children's Services.
"There are just so many people that can do more that don't do more," Ursprung said. "My goal is to get people to open their eyes to the people who are really, truly in need."
Here's a breakdown of which organizations Ursprung said Noah's Kitchen has impacted since June 2025:
- Hope Rescued
- Sunrise Children's Services
- Camberwell Grief Sanctuary
- Northeast Christian Church's Love the 'Ville Outreach
- Boys & Girls Haven
- Shelbi Shutt Ministries
- The Prisoner's Hope
- Josiah Venture
- Lance Kerman Foundation
- Refuge for Women
- The University of Louisville Fellowship of Christian Athletes
- Southeast Christian Church
- GO Ministries
- Portland Christian School
- Tim Tebow Foundation
"Our goal this calendar year is $100,000," Ursprung said. "Next year we want to get to at least $150,000."
Ursprung will host a one year anniversary dinner at the restaurant on June 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds from the sales will support nonprofits.
