LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man in a wheelchair is dead after being hit by a car on Dixie Highway.
Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sanders said around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, a man in a wheelchair was hit by a car traveling southbound on Dixie Highway near Stonegate Manor Drive.
Sanders said first responders performed life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene. The driver of the car stayed on scene, and no charges are expected to be filed at this time, Sanders said.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
