LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Meade County Jailer is scheduled for a county Ethics Commission hearing next week after a complaint about abuse of public trust.

The Meade County Ethics Commission said it received a complaint from former Jailer Troy Seelye, who is also accusing Jailer JJ Scarborough of improper use of public funds, abuse of power and conflict of interest.

The complaint alleges that Scarborough violated the code of ethics by giving one employee unmerited raises. He said the allegations against him are false and more information will be coming out.

Seelye, who lost the election to Scarborough in 2014, said he came forward with information because it affects tax payers.

The Meade County Ethics Commission meeting is on Tuesday, June 18 at EMS Station 1 in Brandenburg at 6 p.m.
