LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No one was injured after a Jeffersontown apartment building went up in flames Wednesday afternoon.

Amber Cobb, a spokeswoman for Jeffersontown Fire and EMS, said a fire was reported just before 2:30 p.m. at Park Laureate Apartments in the 8700 block of Park Laureate Drive, off Stony Brook Drive. 

The building housed six apartments and is considered a total loss, according to Cobb. All residents were evacuated, and several pets were rescued.

Officials haven't announced what started the fire.
