LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The National Transportation Safety Board is set to reveal the cause of a cargo ship crashing into the Eggner's Ferry Bridge in January of 2012.
The board met Tuesday morning in Washington, D.C.
The Delta Mariner struck the bridge over the Tennessee River and a 322-foot section collapsed. It blocked traffic from traveling between Kentucky Lake's western shore and the Land Between the Lakes.
The ship was carrying an Atlas rocket booster and other components from Decatur, Ala. to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
