BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bardstown mother Crystal Rogers vanished in the summer of 2015, but police say they have not stopped looking for her.
"Pretty much every week I do something related to it," lead investigator Captain Jonathan Snow said. Snow is with the Nelson County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's office is releasing new information about their work on the case to show the community they haven't given up.
"This is not a cold case, " Snow said. "We still have hope that it will be solved and that the people responsible for her disappearance will be prosecuted."
In the first year-and-a-half of the investigation, Snow put in 3,100 hours of regular work and over 400 hours of overtime. That doesn't include hours logged since or put in by other state and federal agencies.
"I wouldn't even know where to begin to collect all the hours that have been put into it by all the agencies that have worked on it," Snow said.
Police have gathered 172 pieces of evidence and much of it has been sent off to labs for extensive testing. Snow says approximately 72 search warrants have been written and executed.
"If we have the person that's responsible for it, we want to make sure that we have all the evidence that we need to have that person found guilty," Snow said.
Rogers' Mother Sherry Ballard doesn't want to rush the process either.
"I want every piece of evidence I can possibly get when we do go to court on this," Ballard said.
No arrests have been made, but police have focused on Rogers' ex-boyfriend Brooks Houck.
"Certainly he has not been ruled out as a suspect in the case," Snow said.
Ballard is glad this information is being shared publicly, but wishes all the police work resulted in more answers.
"I still do not know where my daughter is," She said. "I wont let this be a cold case. If I have to call every day, then I'm going to call every day to get the answers that I need."
Sherry Ballard says the reward for information leading to an arrest is up to $100,000.
