LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Street closures were released for the Mayor's Hike, Bike & Paddle that returns Memorial Day in downtown Louisville.
The 21st annual Hike, Bike & Paddle will be held at Waterfront Park from 8 a.m. to noon May 26. The free community event will be hosted on the Great Lawn. This year's event will feature a hiking course along Waterfront Park, a bicycle course around downtown to Cherokee Park and a paddle course along the Ohio River.
According to a news release, the street closures Monday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. include:
- Witherspoon Street from Brook Street to River Road
- River Road from Preston Street to Frankfort Avenue
- Preston Street from River Road to Market Street
- Market Street from Floyd Street to Baxter Avenue
- Baxter Avenue from Market Street to E. Chestnut Street
- E. Chestnut Street from Gray Street to Campbell Street
- Campbell Street from Gray Street to Broadway
- Broadway from Logan Street to Cherokee Road
- Cherokee Road from Broadway to Cherokee Pkwy
- Cherokee Pkwy from Cherokee Road to Grinstead Drive
- Grinstead Drive from Cherokee Parkway to Etley Avenue
- Etley Avenue from Grinstead Drive to Lexington Road
- Lexington Road from Etley Avenue to Spring Street
- Spring Street from Lexington Road to Adams Street
- Adams Street from Spring Street to Witherspoon Street
Additionally, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Interstate 64 eastbound ramp to Story Avenue will be closed.Â
