LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Those near Iroquois Park may see smoke Tuesday, but it's nothing to be worried about.

A controlled burn started around 11 a.m. for vegetation control and to improve habitat for birds.

The burn is happening at the 18-acre Summit Field in Iroquois Park, at the top of Uppill Road.

The area will be closed to the public until about 2:30 p.m.
