LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Street closures were released Monday for the Mayor's Hike, Bike and Paddle on Labor Day.
The annual event that encourages exercise and outdoor activities will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Waterfront Park. This year's hike will consist of a 4-mile walk, an 8.5-mile bike ride and a paddle ride on the Ohio River.
The street closures on Sept. 2 go from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- Witherspoon Street from Brook Street to River Road
- River Road from Preston Street to Frankfort Avenue
- Preston Street from River Road to Market Street
- Market Street from Floyd Street to Baxter Avenue
- Baxter Avenue from Market Street to East Chestnut Street
- East Chestnut Street from Gray Street to Campbell Street
- Campbell Street from Gray Street to Broadway
- Broadway from Campbell Street to Logan Street
- Logan Street from Broadway to Oak Street
- Cherokee Road from Grinstead Drive to Cherokee Traffic Circle
- Cherokee Traffic Circle from Cherokee Road to Cherokee Parkway
- Cherokee Parkway from Cherokee Traffic Circle to Grinstead Drive
- Grinstead Drive from Cherokee Parkway to Etley Avenue
- Etley Avenue from Grinstead Drive to Lexington Road
- Lexington Road from Etley Avenue to Spring Street
- Spring Street from Lexington Road to Adams Street
- Adams Street from Spring Street to Witherspoon Street
