LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby Museum has welcomed a new guest: a Paint miniature horse named Swayzee.
Swayzee was born in August 2018, according to the Kentucky Derby Museum website. He got his name from actor Patrick Swayze, who was very interested the equine world. Officials said both the actor and the mini horse have driven determination and fancy footwork.
Swayzee is visiting from Meaningful Menagerie Animal Therapy in Louisville.Â
Museum officials said Swayzee is great friends with the museum's resident mini-horse Mighty Aristides -- also known as Ari -- who was adopted from Meaningful Menagerie in 2022.Â
